District Authorized to Process I-20 Applications
U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement has authorized the Alhambra Unified School District to process I-20 applications for F-1 student visas under the Student Visitor and Exchange program. The District will begin reviewing and approving applications immediately for students to begin high school for the fall term of the 2016/2017 school year.
Under federal law, non-immigrant students entering the United States under this program are limited to one year of high school (grades 10 - 12) attendance. To attend a school in the Alhambra Unified School District, the student must reside within the District attendance boundaries. Students may enroll in one of three District comprehensive high schools, as determined by their residence. Students are required to pay tuition.
