Student Achievement

Students will meet or exceed all academic LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) growth targets.

The District will support teachers in the implementation of CCSS (Common Core State Standards) through coaching, mentoring, and professional development to ensure that students receive appropriate standards based instruction.

Every English learner will increase a minimum of one language proficiency level per year until reclassified Fluent English Proficient.

Support student achievement by working with sites and district departments to provide appropriate technological resources for our students.

Finance

Support student achievement through the development and implementation of the LCAP by aligning resources with student needs while maintaining adequate reserves to ensure long-term financial solvency.

Safe, Healthy and Respectful Learning Environment

Support student achievement through tiered and integrated intervention services to students and families.

Maintain a strong professional culture that supports welfare and safety in order to maximize learning and student performance.

Provide school environments that enhance learning and the development of lifelong wellness practices.

Staff and Community Relations

Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to uphold contracts, policies and laws while making decisions based on what is in the best interest of students.

Creating a school community that demonstrates openness to improvement, trust, and respect with staff having knowledge and skills that are critical to the development of a positive school climate.

Construction

Oversee the completion of all elementary and secondary bond projects. Develop facilities to meet the needs of district programs.
