Fremont School awarded a Teaching Garden from the American Heart Association. A Teaching Garden Celebration will take place on Earth Day.

We have exciting news!  Fremont School has been selected to participate in the American Heart Association’s Teaching Gardens program. The program uses a school garden to teach students about nutrition and inspire them to eat more fruits and vegetables.  Fremont School will have a Teaching Gardens Kick-off Celebration on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 8:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Each student will have an opportunity to plant in the garden throughout the day.  If you would like to participate in our Teaching Gardens Kick Off day, including planting the garden, please contact the Fremont School office at 626-943-3360.

Fremont School would like to thank the American Heart Association and its generous sponsors for funding the Teaching Garden.
