The City of Monterey Park in partnership with a volunteer committee, Monterey Park Arts Collective (MPAC) is proud to announce its first-ever Electric Park, a free event featuring DJ/Producers playing Electronic Dance Music. Open to all ages.
This event is focused on bringing people together to provide a positive activity that will enhance the lives of the residents. Monterey Park residents have expressed a desire for events and activities geared toward younger adults, a sizeable portion of the city’s population (34% of residents are aged 18-44, Census). This event aims to be the first of many that provide hope and harmony through Music, People, and Community.
When: Saturday, October 8th, 2-10 pm
Where: Barnes Park (350 S. McPherrin Ave.)
- Yoga Dance at 2pm with Haruna
DJ Lineup: Music will include House, Techno, Breakbeats, and other genres of EDM.
