The Monterey Park Recreation & Community Services Department is happy to announce the 10th Annual Holiday Snow Village event on Thursday, December 7, 2023. This year’s event will take place at Barnes Park (350 S. McPherrin Ave.) from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Everyone will be able to participate in many of our free traditional activities and enjoy the Farmers’ Market with food and artisan vendors. 

Snow activities are free. Registration is required, and limited space is available.

Attendees will have a range of free activities and entertainment available, including our popular snow sled runs, snow play area, pictures with Santa, holiday crafts, and more. The Monterey Park Farmers’ Market will have vendors selling food/refreshments and holiday crafts. Be sure to dress warm for this outdoor event. Closed-toed shoes are required for the snow activity areas.

Snow Activities Registration

Please register for a one-hour time slot in order to participate in Snow Play Activities during the Snow Village event. Snow activities include the Snow Play area and Sled Run area.  You will have one hour to participate in both activities.  You may still be required to wait in line for these activities.  A limited number of participants will be allowed in the snow play area for a 10-minute period.  Each time slot will have a designated wristband in order to enter these activities. 

Wristbands will be available for early pick up at Langley Center (400 W. Emerson Ave.) starting December 4, 2023, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Wristbands can be picked up the day of the event at the Information booth, starting at 4:00 PM. One wristband/time slot per person.
