Famiily Members of Special Needs Students May be Eligbile for COVID-19 Vaccine

The State of California recognizes that some people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities may be at high risk of COVID-19 complications and related fatalities. The Department of Developmental Services has clarified that family members who are caretakers of certain people are considered “health care workers” and may be eligible to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine during Phase 1A of the Vaccination Plan.
